Space as Art Wins 2015 Design Excellence Award

We are honored to announce that the American Society of Interior Designers, Florida South Chapter has awarded Space as Art a 2015 “Design Excellence Award” at the organization’s annual awards gala held last weekend in Naples, Florida.

On Site + In the Studio: St.Armand’s Key Kitchen Remodel

Our clients for this project settled down in this canalfront home on St. Armand’s Key three years ago and have been dreaming about customizing their kitchen to reflect their passion for cooking. Aside from upgrading to their preferred choice of appliances, the new kitchen design will be a beautiful neutral palette with contrasting finishes on space-maximizing custom cabinetry and a wood soffit feature with accent lighting above to take advantage of the extended height of the space.

In the Studio: History Meets High-Tech Office Design in Tampa

We’re in the final stages of the interior design for this technology industry office in Tampa, FL. The geographical location has heavily influenced the design concept of the space with a focus on Tampa’s history of seafaring (influences of ships can be seen in the white sail elements and wood plank features). Being the nation’s lighting capital, we’ve also brought in fixtures resembling lighting strikes (check out the very cool conference room light fixture).
